Problems and Limitations

For this assignment i have already noticed a few problems and limitations that are going to occur. The main problem with this assignment will be the amount of time used , the process of making the characters, sets and props will be the most time consuming and this will be a huge worry as it will mean least time for photographing and editing. This will also be a worry as the frames needed may not be up to the standard i would like to reach due to the amount of time wasted on other things.

The technical side to this assignment is something i will need to keep well under control. Problems such as the camera breaking would mean losing all your footage, to control this i will make sure i check how well the camera process's and that it is well in tack. This will give me more reassurance if i did this as i would know i have done everything possible to keep on top of how well the camera works. Another technical problem would be the actual use of the camera. The camera i use may have a few uses that i may not be able to work which could effect the quality of the pictures. To control this i will make sure to ask our teacher to teach me about the camera and show me about all of the techniques of the camera and this way it wont mean i will have to work it out and it will also means i will get the best effect possible.

With the use of materials i will have a limitation to the quality of my Tetris blocks. The reason for this is because i will not be able to have a perfect size of every single block due to the amount of time. Also because the amount or materials i will have it will then mean i will either have to limit the amount i make or the size of them. This could be a problem because more pictures would need to be taken and this will also mean more time will be consumed. These limitations lay in my priorities so to deal with this i will make the blocks smaller and zoom in as it wont matter because you will be able to tell that i have zoomed in.

With my frames per second i have decided to do 12 frames per rate, i tested this out first by taking a few images of my hand moving. I then put 10-20 frames per second to test all the frames per second and see what it looked like. I had a choice of 11 frames per second or 12 frames per second as these two showed the right timing and gave of the best effect. I decided to choose 12fps as i noticed overall it was better. Another reason i choose 12fps is because of persistence of vision and its long enough for persistence of vision to come into play but its long enough for the human eye to take in whats being shown at a reasonable time not to long not too short. So this will mean they eye will perceive each photo individually.
