My Idea

3D Animation

My idea is to recreate the game Tetris by using 3D Plasticine blocks. My idea came across as it is one of my all time favorite games, i was originally supposed to recreate the game Pacman but decided i would get a much better result from Tetris. Throughout the start i decided i would like a gaming stop motion animation and am now set on the game Tetris. I also got the inspiration from YouTube clips such as; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ovvk7T8QUIU. This gave me my first idea or recreating Pacman however when watching these two video's : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5iaqLww9Z8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEP3zSZN9uo i was certain on doing Tetris. These videos gave me a lot of ideas of how i can create my video and also what resources, however i wont be copying the techniques of these videos otherwise my originality wont shine through my work. For my frames per second i am planning to use about 12, this will give enough time for each picture to be shown but not shown for to long.
